Long Bio

Michael is a long-time musician from all the way back in his high school and college years (over 30 years). He started singing publicly in high school with the school's chorus group and picked up the guitar as a freshman in college. He started playing solo shows around his college and after moving to the metro Atlanta, Ga area, he started playing regularly in several bands playing a wide variety of music. Different genres like country, rock, college alternative, blues and funk to name a few. A couple of notable locals he’s played would be Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta and formally Some Place Else in Valdosta, Ga. Also, was the opening act for David Lee Murphy at the height of his career. After a layoff for other career pursuits, he’s now restarted his solo career with regular shows at venues in Walton and Hart Counties and recently opened up for The Mad Hatter Band at the Innovation Amphitheater in Winder, Ga and also The Kinchafoonee Cowboys in Athens, Ga.  He recently recorded two songs in Nashville for a talent showcase TV show called Ascending Sounds for Singing News TV.

Michael has a passion for music and that passion is always on display when he sings. Leaning on one of his biggest influences, George Jones, he sings with his heart and loves interacting with his crowd.
